There is a general thing. I think it is a British stiff upper lip thing that we don’t like asking for help.
To do so gives feelings of being a burden or a pain in the arse.
I do think that these days of 2020/21 have changed everything. We are more likely to offer help and therefore it is more readily available. That has got to be a plus side of these awful days.
But we really shouldn’t be so full of pride that we ignore ourselves when we need help from others. No one is going to judge us and as humans, community is very much the way ahead.
